Mubasher: Khaleeji Commercial Bank incurred losses attributed to shareholders of the parent company of BHD 5.41 million over the third quarter of 2019, against a profit of BHD 341,000 a year earlier.
The losses of the period are attributed to lower revenues by 15.5% to BHD 3.79 million in Q3-19 from BHD 4.49 million in Q3-18, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
From January to September 2019, the bank’s losses attributed to shareholders of the parent company reached BHB 5.21 million, including minority shareholders’ rights, versus a profit of BHD 1.74 million in the same period in 2018.
Over the second quarter of 2019, the bank’s profits significantly shrank by 96.9% to around BHD 17,000, when compared to about BHD 577,000 in Q2-18.
It is worthy to mention that Khaleeji Commercial Bank is a dual-listed bank on Bahrain Bourse (BHB) and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).
